Paint your child’s face, as opposed to having them wear a mask, so they can see much easier — it will also be so much fun to do!
Choose a lighter-colored costume for your child than black (or have them carry a fun glow stick if their costume requires something dark!)
When you’re done trick-or-treating, check your child’s bag of candy for treats that may be a choking hazard
